I recently downloaded Tabata Songs to play during my workouts to make my interval training more efficient and fun. Tabata Songs are music tracks written, performed, and recorded specifically for Tabata Interval Training (4 minute workouts of 20/10 intervals). Each Tabata Songs track gives you 10 seconds of prep time, with the actual workout beginning at the 10 second mark. They also give you the option to have a coach count you in and out of each interval (“3, 2, 1, go!”) or you can choose to simply follow the instrumental music without a coach.
The beauty of this exercise music is that you can download it to your phone or ipod and take it anywhere -“whether you are sprinting on a track, squatting in the gym, or curling rocks at the beach.” You don’t have to limit yourself or your workout. “Just press play, Let the music be your coach…”
