Every morning my baby wakes me up kicking for a protein shake. This is what I put in it:
1-cup filtered water (for hydration)
1-scoop Promedics GreensFirst (the antioxidant equivalent of 15 servings of fruits and vegetables)
1-scoop Promedics Vanilla Dream Whey Protein Isolate (20 grams of fast-acting essential amino acids)
1-Tbsp. flaxseed oil (12 grams of essential fatty acids)
1/2 an organic banana (for vitamins, minerals, energy, and fibre)
1-1 1/2-cups frozen mixed organic berries from Costco. (for fibre, phytonutrients, antioxidants, and energy). I love this brand of berries. So delicious.
Add the above ingredients to a quality blender such as a Vitamix. Blend and enjoy.
